Cookie notice
Urbanfitnesssingapore uses one local setting to remember whether you have closed the cookie banner. The map on the contact page is loaded from Google and may set its own cookies. This page is the full list. It has applied since 2026.
What we set ourselves
When you press Accept or Decline on the banner, the browser writes a value to localStorage under the key ufs_cookie. The value is the word accept or the word decline. That is the only first-party store we use for this purpose. We do not set an advertising cookie, a session-replay cookie, or an analytics package of our own.
The banner is visible until that key exists. After you choose, the bar is hidden on later visits in the same browser. Clearing site data in the browser removes the key and the bar returns. That is the intended way to change your mind. There is no second settings panel on this site.
The script that reads and writes ufs_cookie lives in /assets/site.js. It does not send the value to our server. The contact form does not read it. Declining does not block the form, the journal, or the method pages.
The one first-party setting
The Google map
The contact page embeds a map of 2 Kallang Avenue, CT Hub, Singapore 339407, using a Google Maps iframe. Loading that iframe may allow Google to set cookies and to collect technical data under Google’s own terms. Urbanfitnesssingapore does not read those cookies and does not combine them with ufs_cookie.
If you decline our banner and then open the contact page, the map still loads. The decline choice only hides our bar. If you do not want Google cookies, do not load the contact page, or use a browser tool that blocks third-party frames. We do not offer a map-free duplicate of the address; the address is also written in the footer of every page.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Libre Baskerville and Libre Franklin). That request may allow Google to see the referrer. We do not consider that a cookie we set. If you block the font domain, the site falls back to the browser’s serif and sans-serif faces and remains readable.
What we do not use
There is no advertising network, no retargeting pixel, no heat-map product, and no “share this session with your coach” tracker. We do not use the cookie banner as consent for email marketing because we do not send email marketing. Replies to an enquiry are ordinary mail from [email protected].
The form’s hidden timing field and honeypot are not cookies. They travel with the POST to /send.php and are discarded after the check. They are not written to localStorage.
How to clear the setting
In most browsers you can clear site data for urbanfitnesssingapore.life from the lock icon or from the privacy settings. After a clear, reload any page and the banner returns. Accept or decline again. That is the whole procedure.
If localStorage is blocked entirely, the banner stays visible. That is acceptable. Content behind it still scrolls. The bar is a fixed strip; it does not remove the method, the fees, or the disclaimer.
Coaching disclaimer and this notice
Cookie choices do not change the nature of the service. Urbanfitnesssingapore provides exercise coaching, not medical care. We do not diagnose injuries and we do not replace your doctor or physiotherapist. If you have pain, see a clinician first; we are happy to work alongside them.
